The 1964 Mint Set contained ten coins. 5 coins from each of the Philadelphia and Denver mint.

The Uncirculated pieces are pulled from regular production runs, thus the quality of the individual coins varies wildly from set to set and even within a set.

1964 was the last year of the 90% Silver coins. Beginning in 1964, the Mints switched to a Copper-Nickel "Clad" coinage, and only the Half Dollar was to contain any Silver (and then, only 40%).

Mintage: 606,612 sets

Each coin is encased in heat-sealed plastic, original from the mint and includes the envelope.
